About the Role

As the Principal Communications, you will report to the Manager Communications West and work collaboratively with the global team and within Corporate Affairs in Western Australia. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated communications strategies and be able to proactively manage issues and provide strategic communications advice to senior stakeholders.

In addition, you will also be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining ‘trusted adviser’ relationships with key stakeholders at all levels in the business.
  • Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of key portfolio areas and business requirements and proactively managing key issues and communications in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensuring a strategic and planned approach to communication, issues and stakeholder management outcomes.
  • Delivering dynamic day-to-day communications and content across our channels and platforms.
  • Working cooperatively and effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ensuring all content and materials are delivered in line with Our Requirements for Communications, Our Requirements for Market Disclosure, as well as Our Charter values and Global Communication Strategy Framework.

About You

We’re seeking an experienced communications professional and someone who is highly collaborative, brings new ideas to the table and loves to problem solve. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.

By nature, you are at ease engaging and influencing people at all levels of the organisation to achieve results and can positively contribute to and influence team culture. Demonstrated experience is essential, and a relevant tertiary qualification is required.
