About the Role
We are currently seeking a Mine Utility (Mine Site Cleaner) to join our team at Leinster. The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring a high level of cleanliness across all mine site services, both above, for surface and below, for underground. This is a hands-on role and having a positive can-do attitude is what we are looking for.
This position will suit a self-motivated individual who has a flexible mindset and a great team spirit - a strong safety awareness and safe work ethic with exceptional communication skills. This role has a Family friendly roster, 7/7 dayshift and is available for both residential, DIDO and FIFO applicants.
Reporting to the Utility team lead you will demonstrate the following:
- Overriding commitment to BHP Billiton Charter, health, safety, environment and sustainable development
- Contributing to our safety and continuous improvement culture
- Work effectively with other team members

About you
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Minimum Open C class manual Driver’s Licence
- Experience in a mining operations environment is highly desirable;
- Computer literacy and/or experience in 1SAP (advantageous but not essential);
- Motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and engage in team operations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well within a team to achieve outcomes
- fit and healthy, as you will spend most of your time on your feet
- Strong orientation to safe work practices – High safety focus

Nickel West Leinster
Nickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate.
