About the Role

The Accommodation Operations Officer is responsible for completing basic property management tasks. Such as but not limited to:

  • Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter Values, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations
  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety.
  • Manage tenants in line with Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)
  • Issuing Lease Agreements and additional relevant documentation.
  • Issuing any required RTA documentation and notices.
  • Allocate accommodation, in line with Residential Housing Policy
  • Conduct property inspections including entry, exit and routine inspections
  • Maintain Real Estate Operating system to ensure accurate tenant information is recorded to enable efficient and accurate reporting
  • Identify and highlight opportunities to improve office procedures and schedules
  • Identification and entering of hazards into EMS
  • High standard of customer service
  • Engaging with Stakeholders
  • Warm and inviting first point of contact.
  • Providing support to the greater team.
  • Processing 1SAP transactions - notifications, purchase requisitions
  • Processing applications
  • Data entry

About You

  • With prior experience to engaging with customers via telephone or face to face
  • With real estate background
