Job Description

We have multiple opportunities at varies sites: Blackwater, Goonyella and Saraji.

Reporting to the Line Coach, you will focus on the implementation of Standardised Work for the identified activities within Standardised Work Area deployments.

Your key deliverables include:

  • Provide coaching and support to Standardised Work Area deployment and contribute towards the Standardised Work “Centre of Excellence” resources through role modelling, knowledge sharing, coaching and training;
  • Conduct in field observation and coaching during execution of Standardised Work Area activities;
  • Facilitate problem solving sessions with the frontline to identify the root cause of problems, collaboratively problem solve and explore opportunities to implement improvements into Standardised Work using the appropriate BOS tools;
  • Develop and deploy Standardised Work content for the selected activities;
  • Deliver training material to the frontline in support of the introduced BOS practice and tools Facilitate and work with relevant stakeholders to design, build, test and deploy practical solutions to improve work methods (i.e. tooling);

About you

We are looking for individuals that possess business knowledge, demonstrate excellence in leadership on a day-to-day basis, who are innovative with a bias to action, effectively influence others and have a strong ability to build capability in others and lead change.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in leading or implementing a process improvement or change management project, including facilitating problem solving sessions at the front line;
  • Ability to influence and work through teams to collaboratively problem solve;
  • Proven track record as a process expert with experience implementing a relevant activity with the frontline with strong root cause analysis and problem solving skills;
  • Significant experience using continuous improvement and problem solving methodologies;
  • Demonstrated ability of strong stakeholder management skills to communicate and engage with multiple stakeholder groups.
