WHSE Advisor

BGIS is currently experiencing strong company growth and requires a WHSE Advisor to join our existing team.

The Role:

The WHSE Advisor is responsible for the management, development, implementation and continuous improvement of the BGIS OHS Management.

This is a FIFO role – 7 days on 7 days off roster

Location: Central Queensland – Transport departing from Brisbane

• Assist the Facilities/Property Managers in establishing the EMS management systems, processes, procedures
• Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
• Provide WHSE expertise for BGIS
• Maintain BGIS processes, procedures and records on the BGIS Intranet page and the content for BGIS online WHSE services
• Manage internal and external WHSE audits

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in conducting OH&S audits
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial knowledge and skills
• Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities
• Proficient in desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge and experience in the use of a Computerised Maintenance Management System knowledge (CMMS)
