Driving our paid media partnerships, acquiring new customers and building awareness of the Betfair brand. With great progression, career development opportunities and the chance to work in an exciting fast paced industry, a normal day in the role of the Media and Marketing Specialist includes:
- Developing and managing marketing campaigns from inception through to delivery and post campaign review. Including briefing external media partners and internal creative teams.
- Supporting the Betfair brand – ensuring all messaging and communication align with Betfair brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Leading comms planning for brand, acquisition, product launches and customer retention campaigns.
- Working closely with in-house creative and digital media specialists, to ensure high performance delivery of campaigns and marketing activity.
- Using market and customer insights to inform paid and earned media planning.
- Work with the digital media specialists to monitor campaign metrics to report on effectiveness against objectives.
- Mange budgets and relationships with media partnerships across traditional and digital buys.
- Work with content marketing team to grow Betfair community, customer education and experience.
But there is a catch. To be in the running for this great role, you should have:
- Previous experience in supporting delivery of ATL and BTL marketing campaigns.
- Experience with media planning and activation, either at an agency or within a client marketing team.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business and/or Advertising.
- The ability to problem-solve and contribute to brand planning.
- Demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and to meet deadlines.
- Proficient copywriting and editing skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite as well as project management workflow platforms (e.g. Asana, Monday, Trello).
- Excellent attention to detail & written and verbal communication skills.
- You have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Experience developing and nurturing partnerships and internal cross-functional relationships.
- You don’t have to love sport – but it helps
