About the team and role

Part of the Finance Division, the Investment Performance team is responsible for the execution, reporting and tracking of the Investment Slate to drive the Group’s overall transformation program.

Through recent changes to the team structure these new roles of Senior Manager – Investment Performance are responsible for leading with a team of finance specialists in the provision of investment performance reporting and analysis for the bank, providing an advanced understanding of project accounting. The Senior Managers will undertake financial modelling at an advanced level, bringing demonstrated strong experience with collating business cases, understanding banking processes and managing senior stakeholders to commercial scrutinise investment and benefits.

The Senior Manager – Investment Performance will approach the role with influence, true partnering and continuous improvement to a build a mature, effective model which demonstrates insight and value to the Enterprises performance.

The role is a unique opportunity where you will be engaged across all relevant project/programs and divisions providing exposure to a wide variety of stakeholders and areas. We are open to Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide or Sydney locations.

Experience, capabilities and qualifications

• Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA/CFA or equivalent) with experience in a comparable environment (preferably the financial services sector).
• Detailed understanding and significant experience with Project Accounting, portfolio management and reporting; business modelling; business analytics and data interrogation techniques; financial control processes, systems and key controls; and budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Team player with previous experience in team management and development, as well as responsibility for maintaining customer relationships with senior management
• A passion for continuous improvement, ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing demands is an essential component of the role.
• Preferably experience in navigating and partnering stakeholders through organisation change to deliver a mature ROI model
