Marketing Manager, Business Banking - 12 months fixed term

It’s an exciting time in our Business Banking marketing team as we are launching new offers, uplifting our data capabilities, and increasing customer acquisition across the portfolio. It’s a time of growth for Bendigo Business Banking and to support this we have an opening for a Marketing Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Partnering with great brands, you’ll work across this dynamic portfolio for our business customers to build, plan and execute targeted marketing activity. Your skills and experience in product marketing, content development and digital platforms will see you deliver customer centric activity that helps achieve the Bank’s targets.
Combining your customer led approach and expert influencing skills you’re comfortable navigating a diverse network of stakeholders. Engaging across the enterprise you will gain exposure and add value at all levels. You’ll be given ownership to influence change and challenge the status quo, with plenty of scope to further your own learning and development.
You’ll be part of an open, friendly, and collaborative team of experienced marketers who are passionate about what they do. This role can be based in our offices in Adelaide, Bendigo or Melbourne in a hybrid approach, some days you’d be in the office, and then other days you’d be working from home to help better balance your life and work.
As the Marketing Manager you will:
- Use data and insights to execute Business banking campaigns that deliver results
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Brief creative, media and internal teams on requirements
- Manage budget, and best allocation across channels, initiatives, and media
- Develop relevant analytics and reporting requirements to measure performance of activities
- Prepare and present regular campaign reports and insights to key stakeholders and senior management
To be successful in the role, you'll have:
- A tertiary degree in Marketing or relevant related discipline
- Prior experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Campaign Manager role
- A deep understanding of marketing practices and the ability to hit the ground running
- Demonstrated experience interpreting data, analysis and market research and turning this into actionable insights
- Proven capability leading acquisition and cross sell campaigns and reporting on their effectiveness through post implementation review
- Demonstrated best practice in digital platform usage and content development
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand business and marketing metrics
- Exceptional negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to formally present to internal and external audiences
- The ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo, and apply innovative solutions
