About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, ME Bank and Virgin Money Australia) has arrived! As a Security Analyst - IDAM, you will be joining BOQ Group during our transformation journey to be the digital bank of the future. This permanent role will enable you to add significant value to our organisation by ensuring IDAM platforms are effective, allowing you to make a difference whilst acting with integrity and empathy. With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across BOQ Group.

You will join a high performing team supporting identity and access management (IDAM) by managing, maintaining and continually improving IDAM processes. You will apply governance practices to ensure BOQ Groups IDAM platforms are effective, additionally working with the Senior Manager of Identity and Access Management to enforce IDAM policies. You will further be responsible for providing SME support and informal IDAM coaching throughout the organisation as needed. This will include partnering with application owners to support their development and maintenance of detailed and effective application access models.

In addition to analysing information and documents to identify improvement opportunities, you will perform analysis of identity data to support and implement pre-approved access, role-based access and segregation of duties.

About you

As a collaborative security professional, you must be able to work as part of a team and under limited supervision, inhibiting a can-do attitude, good communication and the drive to learn within our supportive environment.

You will have experience in identity management, access management, privileged access, governance, SSO, federation, directory services and networks. Having a background in IDAM administration services, you will have a strong knowledge of IDAM principles and the ability to apply them to enable the business to ensure fast and effective identity management.

Furthermore, you will have strong relationship building skills where you have experience working synonymously with others such as project teams, third party vendors and cyber security architects.

Experience with SailPoint, OKTA, CyberArk and Active Directory preferred, however not essential. Knowledge of known industry frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO, Privacy, PCI-DSS and APRA a strong advantage.
