Role Summary:
Baker Hughes has an opening for Onsite AMO Manager for Minot ND CWI workshop. Leader onsite team with focus on ensuring that SD is supported in workshop activities in a safe quality oriented manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Own HSE & Quality for workshop
- Support keeping the facility in a safe, clean and organized manner at all times
- Oversee Tool Redress
- Ensure full compliance with policy and procedures (AMO, HSE, Quality, HR) “eMtJC”
- Ensure all tools are visible in SAP throughout the AMO Cycle (SLoc’s; 6000, 0099, 0001)
- TB implementations all complete (DWR last resort)
- Reduce AMO PSDI failures, target ZERO
- Optimize work flow / shop layout efficiency “Lean”
- Optimize tooling and test equipment, allow redundancy only where necessary
- Liaise with inventory/logistics personnel as needed to ensure OTD to OPS/Customer
- Ensure inventory requirements for ReDress are alerted up through Materials ASAP
- Weekly inventory review for critical parts shortages
- Address current and foreseeable inventory shortages, flag components with unacceptable lead times
- Ensure teams keep the facility in a safe, clean and organized manner at all times “6S”
- Liaise with logistics and QC personnel to identify 3rd party repair requirements and process appropriately
- Ensure that AMO support from other groups still maintains global expectations of HSE / quality / documentation while in the workshop
- Support team as needed with hands on support
- Reporting and Systems of Record
- Data input to be executed within an acceptable timeframe accurately (SAP/MaPS)
- Utilize reports for plant operation
- ZCRS ,Order Suborder, Intercompany Repair, Outstanding Cost, Applied Hours, ZARS
- No work orders open >45 days
- Ensure team utilizes RCE (repair cost estimate) function to best make decisions on tools to repair
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement accordingly
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 7 years’ experience
- Previous Leadership experience
- AMO process skills
- SAP / MaPs skills
