Job Title: IWT Manager (Integrated Workday Manager)
Location: Govan, Glasgow
Salary: £56,300 (depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
Accountability and responsibility for SHE within a manufacturing area and be responsible for SHE related activities within associated areas.
Lead, manage and control work across a multi-skilled team, to ensure safe assembly, production, testing and ultimate delivery of the product in line with the agreed timescale, quality standards and cost
Promote a continuous improvement approach to quality, driving out waste and improving performance, incorporating lessons learned, best practice techniques and knowledge sharing
Support the development of your teams capability to ensure the right skills, knowledge and behaviours are harnessed and that people are empowered and supported to continuously improve the processes and ways of working
Ensure integration of all services required to support the product deliverables
Accept responsibility for and demonstrate a visible commitment to Quality.Lead by example and set high personal standards.Make time for Quality as an integral part of the role and engage in effective communications to maintain the highest standards of quality
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Experience or managing a multi-trade environment
End value management
Thorough knowledge of shipbuilding production processes in complex warship delivery
Desirable:
Safety qualification
Project Management experience

As a IWT Manager, you will Lead the execution of the work scope within your remit, ensuring effective integration and collaboration of all manufacturing and installation activities through a multi-functional team to achieve business requirements to safe, quality focussed, schedule and cost driven standards.
