Job title: Joiner - Maintenance

Location: Barrow-in-Furness

Salary:£35,473

What you’ll be doing:

Working safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines

Following the relevant instructions, drawings and any other specifications

Using the appropriate methods and techniques to complete operations

Checking the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification

Using associated tools and equipment safely and effectively

Installing and replacing the locks of fire doors

Your skills and experiences:

Good knowledge of joinery and repair

Basic understanding of locksmith duties

Time Served Apprentice in joinery / NVQ qualification in joinery

Fire door inspection qualifications are desirable

The joinery maintenance team:As part of joinery maintenance team you will be involved with fabricating, assembling, installing, or repairing wooden or composite items to standard including the use of fixed and portable woodworking machines.
