Job title: Assistant Management Accountant

Location: This role can be based at one of our following sites; Preston, Farnborough or Glascoed, South Wales. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £30,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Support with month end activities & production of reporting packs; preparing month end journals, identifying key variances to budget, inputting base data into reporting packs etc
• Support with Invoicing of costs and cash forecast activities
• Support production of key financial data and analysis
• Undertaking of governance requirements both individually and on behalf of the team
• Ad Hoc support to the team as required

Your skills and experiences:

• Degree in accountancy OR relevant experience working within a finance team
• Accounting knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Enjoys working in a changing environment & passion for process improvement
• Strong IT and analytical skills (Particularly Excel)
• Use of Financial systems would be desirable
