Job title: Procurement Practitioner

Location: Barrow, We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Competitive

Referral Scheme Bonus: £1,000

Grade: S2/S3

What you’ll be doing:

  • Resolving routine problems and escalate when necessary
  • Managing risks and opportunity to address low impact risks within specific scopes of work
  • Updating business systems, document management systems and data sources to provide a single point of truth for stakeholders
  • Supporting or leading supplier contract management
  • Raising and placing purchase orders
  • Managing monthly supplier invoices and payment milestones

Your skills and experiences:

  • Administrative experience within a Supply Chain or Procurement team
  • Experience in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Outlook, SAP, Word, etc)
  • Previous experience of managing suppliers and supplier contracts
  • CIPS or working towards advantageous

The Procurement team:

As a Senior Procurement Practitioner, you will be part of our dynamic fast paced Submarine build programme. You will have the ability to enhance both procurement process and product knowledge within this role where you will be part of the execution of the end-to-end Procurement process. You will manage the supplier performance and improvement activity, the delivery of information, products and services. As well as developing, maintaining, and managing stakeholders
