Job title: Associate Stores Operative
Location: Warton/Samlesbury – this role will involve shift working patterns
Salary: £31,855+
What you’ll be doing:
- Undertaking the physical and administrative tasks associated with the receipt, kitting and dispatching of items within a store’s location
- Ensuring the control of items that have storage requirements or materials that have a use by date
- Kitting of items in line with instructions ready for distribution to production areas
- Updating and Maintaining Stores IT Systems
- Facilitation of Transport Bookings
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience in the manual handling of goods within a manufacturing environment
- Experience and of Health and Safety rules and regulations
- Regular use and experience of IT Systems
- Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous
Desirables:
- Forklift Truck licence and/ or lifting & slinging operations would be advantageous

The Stores Operative team:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Associate Stores Operatives to work on our Military platforms, which include F35, Typhoon and Future Combat Air Systems at BAE Systems Air Sector Warton / Samlesbury sites. You will be required to interface with the support areas including but not limited to Quality, Logistics, and SHE.
