Job title: On-Boarding Professional (Early Careers)

Location: Preston- We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

We will consider part time and full time hours

Salary: £23,762

What you’ll be doing:

  • Initiating security process to completion, ensuring security has been granted in line with associated recruitment timescales
  • Providing quality customer service, including interacting with teams involved in the On-Boarding cycle, answering enquires and escalating where appropriate
  • Checking & processing of security paperwork to our Security provider, updating security trackers and monitoring cycle time
  • Managing candidate query allocation, responding to initial candidate contact, including candidates who have not yet received offers
  • Initiating and monitoring the occupational health process
  • Tracking, monitoring and co-ordinating the offer management process. Checking the relevant paperwork and ensuring the documentation is back on time. This includes qualification returns, occupational health certification, contracts, security

Your skills and experiences:

  • IT literate - Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
  • Strong administration skills developed in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to/experience in a HR or Recruitment environment advantageous
  • Experience of working with HR Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems and Customer Contact Systems advantageous

Meet the team:

A professional team supporting the Graduate and Apprentice Recruitment process by completing on boarding activities. This would begin after verbal offer and is the administrative tasks required to bring a candidate into the business. Supporting a number of activities from offer management, HR systems On-Boarding, security clearance to first day readiness, ensuring that candidates feel informed and prepared for their transition into the business.

This role will allow you the opportunity to work in the rewarding space of Apprentice and Graduate recruitment, and help hire the next generation of BAE Systems
