PROCUREMENT DIRECTOR

Location: Rochester

Salary: Up to £90k depending on experience, with an attractive monthly car allowance package

What you’ll be doing:

• Management of the site’s direct material spend of c. £80m p.a.
• Leadership and development of the Procurement and Technical Supply Chain teams on site.
• Approval of sub-contract and material spend within delegated authority limits.
• Approval of material estimates in support of the business winning process.
• Leading and developing key supplier relationships at a senior level.
• Achievement of direct material and procurement labour budgets across development, production and support programmes.
• Availability of all direct material on time, to cost and to the right quality to meet all manufacturing requirements.
• Sub-contract management of supplier non-recurring development activities to meet programme requirements.
• Development and delivery of a functional strategy to ensure ongoing team and supply chain performance improvement.
