Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.

About the opportunity

The Talent Attraction (TA) Business Partner works within the People and Culture team, reporting to the Talent Attraction Manager, Network Operations. The role involves partnering with senior leaders to provide strategic recruitment advice, manage external talent attraction strategies, and drive internal mobility for career growth. As a talent partner, you’ll advise on best practice, influence data driven decisions and collaborate with SME teams to deliver a seamless, high touch experience for our candidates. Additionally, you’ll stay informed on market trends, emerging innovation and contribute to recruitment projects to meet evolving business needs.

We welcome interest from candidates based in both Sydney and Melbourne. This role will have the opportunity to visit our facilities locally, to understand how the business operates and build relationships with key leaders.

What you’ll deliver with us

As a Talent Attraction (TA) Business Partner, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for contract-level roles, ensuring a seamless experience for both hiring managers and candidates. You’ll advise and influence leaders on the most effective solutions for their recruitment needs, while providing strategic guidance on recruitment best practice and market trends. You’ll contribute to recruitment optimisation projects and help drive diverse hiring needs aligned to our DE&I action plans.

You’ll also

  • Leverage multiple data sources to produce relevant market insights and inform data driven sourcing strategies.
  • Engage passive talent via proactive sourcing, market map relevant skills and build talent pools for key focus areas.
  • Deeply understand the Australia Post EVP and bring this to life in a meaningful way for each candidate.
  • Support hiring managers to navigate Australia Post's recruitment processes, understand the best approaches for attracting top talent and assess candidates effectively.
  • Educate on internal mobility and DE&I initiatives, identifying and promoting internal talent for career progression.

About you

You bring extensive experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant or Business Partner, having worked within a TA function, RPO, executive search or recruitment agency environment. With strong stakeholder management skills, you can confidently engage with senior leaders, building and maintaining valuable relationships across diverse teams. Demonstrating deep knowledge across sourcing and talent pooling strategies for both specialist and leadership roles, you’ll demonstrate agility to adapt to evolving recruitment needs and drive initiatives across different business units.

You’ll also need

  • Passion for creating a high quality, positive candidate experience with every interaction, and bringing to life a differentiated EVP
  • Versatility in recruiting across diverse divisions, roles, and levels, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and business requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of the talent acquisition landscape, including market trends, technology and tools (including AI) and best practice.

How we’ll deliver for you

  • Be part of a culture where everybody feels they belong, are valued, and can bring their authentic self to work every day.
  • Contribute to an iconic enterprise that is committed to world-class innovation and excellence.
  • We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day. They’re the TIES that bind our team together.
  • Flexible working, across support office and operational facilities across the network.
