VP Compensation & Benefits
Please note this role is required to be onsite 2-3 days a week in a hybrid model located in Las Vegas, NV. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates that are located outside of the local area.
What You'll Do
- As a member of the Global Reward Leadership Team, contribute to developing, building, enhancing, and implementing global Total Rewards solutions including compensation and incentive, sales commission plans and equity programs in line with the Aristocrat business strategy and the broader corporate reward strategy at Group level.
- Lead the Benefits function in the US and Americas including overall accountability for our self-insured medical plans covering circa 3,500 employees and our 401K plans.
- Manage the delivery of compensation programs, recommendations and solutions covering specific areas of Compensation, including performance management, salary planning, market analysis, job design, variable pay planning, vendor relationship management, or other services.
- Identifying areas of long-term strategic development within Compensation specific to the Gaming environment, with a particular focus on sales commission plans, Studio incentive plans and D&D compensation programs that drives improved business performance.
- Providing interpretation and counsel to Executive Management regarding Group Compensation & Benefits policies, programs, and practices.
- Researching issues and applying best practice, develop Compensation & Benefits solutions to resolve strategic business issues as part of the Global Reward leadership team.
- Developing and/or updating and implementing new Compensation & Benefits policies, practices, and programs to meet market specific, organisational, and Gaming market specific needs.
- Manage any third-party relationships relevant to compensation and benefits programs specific to the three businesses or as part of the Global Reward team.
- Establish credibility and collaboration with People & Culture leaders to understand business needs, contribute to developing fit for purpose solutions and supporting the People & Culture function and working closely with tax, finance, and legal partners.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in best-in-class HR organisations with exposure to US, LATAM and other Global markets in a total rewards context including all elements of compensation and benefits.
- Strong business partnering capability and stakeholder management, navigation, and negotiation between divergent priorities.
- Management, leadership, team building, consulting, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills and project management experience.
- Expert knowledge of Compensation & Benefits theory and best practices with exposure to all forms of incentive and equity plans, international mobility, and M&A due diligence
- Strategic business knowledge and understanding of technology and/or Gaming operations.
- Strong communication skills with high emotional intelligence, that builds relationships, trust and collaborates with all stakeholders.
- Knowledge of current compensation, benefits and employment legislation in US, LATAM and other global locations.
- Exceptional level of financial analysis, compensation modelling, reporting and data interpretation.
- Experience working with WorkDay or other ERP HR systems and Compensation Review systems.
- Experience working within a global company, across multiple jurisdictions/markets, within a matrix and centre of excellence structure.

Typical Experience
- Degree qualified with experience at a senior level in Compensation & Benefits in a global or multi-jurisdictional context and preferable experience in Gaming, Digital, Media or related organisations.
- Consulting/account management experience desirable.
