About the role
You will be part of a broader team that is central to driving growth of the Ampol and the retail brands.
As part of our Brand and Communications Team, you will develop and support marketing initiatives to shape our evolving brands, by executing insight driven marketing communication campaigns, support promotional campaigns and new business projects to drive brand awareness and meet sales objectives including acquisition growth both new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities
- Execute and measure end to end integrated marketing campaigns and communications across paid owned and earned media channels
- Champion all aspects of marketing and promotion for Brand and Communication to drive acquisition, retention and growth across the Ampol and Foodary products and solutions including retail and fuel
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns – managing budget, timelines, media planning, concept development and execution – from large scale brand campaigns to tactical in store promotion
- Own the customer journey (path to purchase), and ensuring all our communications align to the shopper strategy and continuously look for opportunities
- Ensure consistent brand guideline execution across all brands including Ampol, Foodary and Ampol Woolworths Metro brands in all communications.
- Lead post campaign reviews, by ensuring key success metrics are always set up, and understanding, reviewing and analysing campaign work
About you:
Our ideal candidate will bring a passion for campaign management and stakeholder engagement. You will need to be able to construct campaigns and manage them end-to-end, including controlling budgets, providing analysis and reporting on ROI and insights. You will have a good track record in time management and the capacity to work effectively and deliver high quality outputs in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have commercial awareness which can be used to drive campaign objectives.
Key skills and experience
- A tertiary qualification (Marketing or similar) and/or extensive experience in a campaign manager role
- Demonstrated experience developing and leveraging relationships both internally and externally
- Previous experience client side in shopper or retail marketing (desirable)
