Role & Responsibilities:


You will be responsible for sourcing candidates for our sales teams, working with talent acquisition specialists to strategically implement a sourcing strategy, while ensuring a superior candidate experience. You will be working to gain lead generation, candidate outreach for sales hiring to acquire the best talent with speed and quality. You will be a talent champion who can actively stay connected to a robust talent pipeline, maintain candidate relationships, and energetically sell the role and the American Express (AXP) brand.


Here’s just some of what you’ll do in this role:

  • Lead talent pipelining for specialised sales hiring to include small business, mid-market, foreign exchange within our Global Commercial Services (GCS) across the A/NZ Market

  • Proactively connect with talent by using recruitment platforms ( LinkedIn/ Eightfold/ Seek/ Indeed) to build qualified pipeline of talent

  • Enact broader Talent Acquisition strategy to ensure delivery of qualified and diverse talent

  • Recommend and drive improvements to the local sourcing strategy and pipeline by actively collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Specialists – Sales and the Recruitment Manager A/NZ

  • Work with Talent Acquisition Specialists and Hiring Leaders to achieve hiring goals, gather key input for candidate slates, and provide feedback on candidates and influence hiring decisions

  • Keep up to date on analytics and reporting for talent pipelining, focusing on channel conversion, passive candidates etc.

  • Conduct initial connection with candidates internally/ externally to include employer brand promotion and maintaining a talent pool for future hire needs.

  • Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with candidates, providing details on the selection process

  • Work with the business to generate referrals

  • Stay ahead of new technology & tools to source candidates and ability to analyse trends in the industry

  • Able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Sourcing in recruitment preferred experience in medium to large multi-national organisations

  • Segment and industry-specific knowledge in sales
