The UK Card Services business is a large and rapidly growing business operating in a complex and evolving regulatory landscape.This new role will focus on enabling the ICS Product Owners to manage the Third Party Lifecycle (TLM) Program for their Partners, whilst supporting the leadership team to identify, manage and mitigate potential risks whilst mitigating the impact to the business.

This role is part of a high profile and dynamic team which will focus on facilitating the needs of the Third Party Lifecycle Management Program and the relationships with our business partners, driving seamless processes ensuring as little impact to our Partners as possible.

  • Facilitate the sound execution of the TLM program for ICS locally and oversee AESEL Outsourcing activities by becoming an SME for the Third Party Relationship Manager regarding the TLM requirements
  • Streamline processes to drive efficiencies for the business, whilst also ensuring compliance to the TLM Program
  • Provide guidance to the business to manage vendor risks by ensuring appropriate risk assessments and the closure of issues in line with the TLM framework.
  • Take a cross coordination role to ensure robust end to end approach to drive appropriate customer outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with the TRM’s,Operational Excellence, Compliance and other Stakeholders

Required skills:

  • Very strong Project Management and execution skills
  • Able to breakdown complex asks into easily understandable requirements for the TRM’s
  • Knowledge of the Third Party Lifecycle program, either by working within TLM or having experience of needing to complete it
  • A strong collaborator and relationship builder
  • Able to create specific tracking documents and tracking procedures - it is expected that efficiencies can be created
  • A proactive self starter who can analyse requirements and determine the best course of action
  • Proven ability to take initiative, champion a process from conception through implementation.Ability to deliver results in a complex environment leveraging an unwavering attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen a plus; problem solving skills and critical thinking
  • Strong focus on the customer and the overall experience, ensuring we create good customer outcomes
  • Strong relationship management, influencing and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, with emphasis on proposal development and presentation to internal and external contacts, up to senior management levels
  • Proven ability to drive the agenda and influence key stakeholders to achieve optimum business results
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to a dynamic and changing environment. Ability to re-focus according to business wide strategic priorities
