At Resy, we are tackling hard problems with elegant solutions and scaling very quickly. The Manager/ Senior Manager, International Strategy & Go-to-Market sits within the Strategy & Operations team, reporting into the Director of Global Strategic Growth. This role drives critical growth strategies and initiatives in Resy’s proprietary international markets. The 3 proprietary markets are Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, and in these countries, Resy sells our flagship reservation and table management solution, ResyOS, directly to restaurant operators. You will lead strategic initiatives across these markets working closely with Resy sales and customer success to ensure Resy’s long-term success and American Express stakeholders to inject dining value into our Card products.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Lead a series of high-impact Resy strategic initiatives in international proprietary markets
- Lead the communication and roll out of key projects and ensure milestones are met
- Partner closely with the Restaurants teams to ensure advocacy for the Product and Strategy needs of restaurants, partners and Cardmembers
- Partner with local Amex teams to concept original programming that delivers dining value for Card Members
- Liaise cross-functionally with Resy and local Amex teams to launch new imbedded dining benefits in international markets
- Collaborate with Resy Marketing to identify relevant marketing opportunities to drive demand to restaurants in international markets
- Continually optimize Resy’s international go-to-market and operational strategy to ensure we’re ‘winning’ in each country
- Identify and forecast emerging global trends in dining and adjacent industries to ensure Resy remains at the forefront of restaurant technology innovations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Significant experience in strategy, operations, consulting and/or marketing experience
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects
- A self-starter with an ability to excel in dynamic, ever-changing or ambiguous environments as required
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to work with stakeholders across different functions and with colleagues at all levels
- Experience with a SaaS based product / business
- Thoroughly understand the restaurant reservation landscape and local restaurant industry nuances
- You enjoy wearing many hats and growing a new and exciting business unit
