Could you be the Total Reward Manager based in either of our Brisbane, Melbourne, CBD or Sydney, North Ryde offices that we’re looking for in our Human Resources team?
Your future role:
You will support Total Reward organisation of Alstom's ANZ Region through proper implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs, application of group policies, global / local procedures, and ensuring employee total remuneration are competitive vs local market practices while maintaining internal equity. As well as this, you will support the business by providing ad-hoc analysis and reporting on Compensation and Benefits (C&B) matters and participate to the monitoring of total costs of employment.
We'll look to you for:
- Participating in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
- Contributing to the development of salary bands and salary budgets
- Conducting ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
- Advice and support HR teams on how to conduct job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications methodology, review job evaluations and ad-hoc total reward analysis
- Providing counsel and guidance to HR staff on total reward -related questions and issues
- Contributing to the development and implementation of Total Employee Costs Analytics
- Administering total reward programs, including market pricing, maintenance of compensation-related structures, salary bands, benefits administration
- Together with the learning team, preparing effective training materials to ensure appropriation of total reward principles by the HR teams, the hierarchical managers and the employees
- Undertaking a pivotal role into initiatives and projects to improve total reward management
- Administering compensation and benefits tools and databases to ensure high level of data quality and accuracy
All about you:
- Tertiary degree in human resources, business or related area
- Proven experience in total rewards/compensation and benefits operating in a multinational organisation
- Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
- WGEA reporting experience
- Knowledge of benefit programs/laws/regulations and ability to assess financial implications of rewards programs
- Familiar with total remuneration surveys and external consultants i.e. Mercer, PayNet, EY
- Experience in HR operational aspects (Talent Management, Compensation & Benefit, Legal/Labour Compliance, Income Tax, Social Context, International Mobility)
