About the job
We are actively looking for a senior health professional in the position of Clinical Nurse Lead with a passion for all aspects of clinical care within an occupational health setting. The role will be responsible for leading, supporting, and developing the Occupational Health Nurse team, offered on a permanent basis!
In this Lead position you will collaborate with other key team leads with a focus on the execution of the Australian Occupational Health Strategy, specifically continuous improvements and process simplifications.
Critical areas of scope for this opportunity are:
Acting as a clinical mentor for our Nursing staff
Ensuring our clinical services are standardised and aligned with industry best practice
Developing a training program for the Nurse group based on a needs' analysis, constructing and conducting skill-building activities
Providing clinical support to the Emergency Response teams at each location as a member of the help chain
Overseeing health centre resources such as equipment and supplies
Monitoring and evaluating practices to ensure clinical governance requirements are met.
Reporting directly to the Occupational Health Manager you will work as part of a dynamic, diverse, multidisciplinary team contributing to our health programs and initiatives!
About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Current licence to practice from the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency, recognised as a Registered Nurse,
Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Management or related field, with Occupational medicine/health experience preferred,
Experience developing clinical education and training programs,
Demonstrated leadership with ability to coordinate and empower members of diverse and dynamic teams, with a transparent approach to bring about change,
Organisational, decision-making and problem-solving skills, with passion to foster a culture of continuous improvement, and
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to relate to and influence others in a professional manner.
