Job Description
An Albemarle Corporation HRIS Lead is a technology, processes driven, team-oriented role responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of Workday and supporting services/technologies.
Responsibilities:
Support Workday technology, focus on Talent/Performance and Compensation, plus other broader responsibilities including Time/Absence, recruiting and integration/interfaces
Prepare HRIS process flows, procedures and job aids as needed
Conduct data analysis/rationalization and cleanup on Workday HCM. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data
Proactively identify optimization and automation opportunities and support strategic initiatives related to Workday HCM
Monitor service delivery queues and respond to inquiries
Own the full cycle development/configuration and deployment of Workday Modules, including functional requirements, user acceptance testing
Partner effectively with all stakeholders including payroll, HR Service Center, COE’s, IT and external consultants
Serves as the subject matter expert in Talent/Performance and Compensation of Workday HCM.
Assess the implications of Workday configuration choices, collaborate with various IT product teams, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure and deploy cohesive system solutions
Enable and build effective analytics using Workday dashboards
Diagnose and resolve system incidents, supporting a full lifecycle of change management processes
Understand and adhere to SOX processes, regulations and controls
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve HCM issues, research customer question to provide solutions
Plays a key role in HCM projects and leads optimization efforts
Provide data, reports and supporting documentation for internal and external audit
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Minimum of 5 years Workday HCM Experience, focus on Talent and Compensation
Workday HCM Certification
Demonstrated working knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resource administration
Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel (v-lookups, formulas)
Proven ability to use computer software and applications to share, retrieve, research and present business information
Excellent problem-solving skills, attentive to detail and passions for accuracy
Goal driven, self-motivated, organized, multi-tasker, committed to excellence

Effective collaboration skills with team members and third-party vendors
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work with little supervision
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday HCM, Compensation, Talent/Performance certification
Bilingual, English and Spanish or English and German or English and Chinese.
