Heathwood Chilled and Frozen Distribution Centre
Construction is now well underway for our new Heathwood Chilled and Frozen Distribution Centre (HCFDC). Located in Heathwood, Brisbane, HCFDC is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 42,000 sqm temperature controlled 24/7 facility - equivalent to more than three times the size of the Suncorp Stadium playing field - will enable fresher, faster and more efficient deliveries of around 4,000 frozen and chilled products to more than 260 stores across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
The Opportunity
This role forms a crucial part of our team at HCFDC, by helping upskilling our team to ensure we are working end to end as one team to deliver to our stores and most importantly help keep our team safe.
In this role you will be working closely with a number of our leadership team, and you will have the opportunity to make a real impact whilst having some fun along the way.
As the Training Partner for the site you will work with the Northern Training Lead and will effectively partner with the site to implement the training strategy and vision. Working in a passionate and supportive team, time will be spent building relationships and creating engagement, as well as:
- Facilitation of Workplace Coach Courses and C1C courses as required
- Facilitation of inductions and technical training as required
- Supporting the onsite team in successful implementation of a training strategy for 250+ team members
- Coordinate the schedule and attendance of 250+ team members to their relevant training sessions
- Prepare and disseminate all training material, feedback forms and collating of results
- Monitor, manage and report on training outcomes aligned with compliance requirements
- Communicating with participants and relevant Training Leadership/ Team pre, mid and post course
- Administering a record system to track employee’s participation and progress.
- Providing candidate profiles to workforce planning
- This role will work closely alongside our Workforce Planning Lead, to provide effective learning experiences that meet business requirements
- Update and maintain relevant Promapp process as required
Who we’re looking for
Our Training Partner will be driven and passionate, keen to get things done and able to make an impact in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for a team player with:
- Comfortable to work in a fast paced and high volume environment
- Willingness to learn new systems and approaches
- Experience with Promapp or a similar program
- Relevant experience facilitating group training, face-to-face, online and blended training delivery approaches
- A strong focus and commitment to quality, compliance and reporting requirements
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills across all levels of the business
- A Certificate IV in Training and assessment (desirable but not mandatory)
