Western Power is transforming the network using innovation and technology to connect greater renewables on its drive towards a decarbonised future, whilst still ensuring the reliability and safety of its existing infrastructure assets. As a result, the operating model of how technology supports the business is changing. This will enable improved business performance through the utilisation of digital capability, enterprise data and cyber security strategies.
The newly created role of Head of Digital Products reports to the Chief Technology Officer. The primary focus of this role will be to:

  • Lead the delivery of digital and technology products and services for the organisation
  • Build, develop and nurture a newly formed team
  • Develop and co-ordinate the prioritised program of technology and analytics investment for the organisation
  • Lead collaboration efforts across the business, championing new ways of working and establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ensures adequate resourcing and provision of capabilities for products, projects, programs and service teams

Applications are sought from strategic individuals that possess a comprehensive knowledge of IT, OT and data related disciplines along with the delivery of large technology programs. Strong leadership skills in delivering large scale change are essential along with your ability to build strong collaborative relationships across a business.
An understanding of the energy sector or infrastructure related assets along with experience in agile ways of working and digital product management methodologies will be highly regarded. Tertiary qualifications will be viewed favourable, particularly those related to technology, business and/or finance.
