The Port Kembla Steelworks has achieved Responsible Steel certification, which recognises the sustainability of the operations across several indicators, including social, environmental and governance.
The Steelworks is only the fourth steelmaker in the world to receive this certification and the first steelmaking site accredited in the Asia Pacific AND WE WANT YOU TO BE A PART OF IT by joining Ventia on this exciting Project.

About the role
Your role would be to provide Support to the Planning and Preparation Team for the No.6 Blast Furnace Reline Project including:
- Project Engineering Support,
- Resolving technical queries in relation to scope and work pack development
- P6 Planning & Scheduling.
To be successful in this role the following qualification, skills and experience are required:
Skills
- Engineering Degree or suitable background
- Good customer engagement
- Microsoft Office Suite
- 3D Models via Autodesk
- Oracle Primavera P6 Experience (desirable)
- Understanding of Quality Systems and Processes
- Valid Australian Driver’s licence.
- Previous Heavy Industrial / Oil & Gas experience (desirable)
- 2-5 years Project Engineering
- 5+ years in trade role (desirable)
