About the Role
Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, Belfast or Dublin.
Salary: £45,400 - £68,200 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Risk Manager to support the Group to achieve its objectives through ongoing development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an enterprise risk management framework. Reporting to the Head of Group Risk, you’ll take responsibility for leading innovation and development of standards. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to develop and support training and education pathways, providing guidance and business partnering support in meeting their risk management responsibilities. As Group Risk Manager you’ll be responsible for:
- Enterprise Risk Management Leadership - driving implementation and improvement of the enterprise risk management framework, providing innovative guidance and business partnering support, conducting risk workshops, and ensuring accessible training materials.
- Group Risk Management Policy and Innovation - leading innovation in adherence to Group Risk Management Policy, supporting business units in process development and improvement, owning standards and methodology.
- Communication and Education - engaging stakeholders regularly to understand their risks, challenges, and priorities. Collaborating with leadership for effective education, training, and change management.
- Risk Reporting and Analysis - supporting operational risk management reporting and monitoring, identifying common risks, interconnected risks, and potential material impacts.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- A relevant qualification in Risk Management, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Sufficient experience in a risk management role, including experience of implementing enterprise risk management frameworks across a large organisation.
- Significant experience of stakeholder management, engaging, supporting, and influencing at all levels.
- Experience of developing risk reports, along with a clear understanding of statutory reporting requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate risk workshops and present to senior stakeholders.
