About the Role
Base Location: Perth, Glasgow or Reading
Salary: £45,400 - £68,200 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We are in our new price control, RIIO-ED2 (2023-2028), and finance will play a key role in supporting the business in maximising our current settlement.
The Finance Support Business Partner is focussed on performance improvement, business analysis & insight, strategic business planning, budgeting, investment appraisal & forecasting activities with particular focus on capital projects. This role reports to the Finance Business Partner and responsibilities include:
- Provide proactive challenge to the business on financial performance to drive improvements.
- Advise and influence the business on strategic planning activities from a finance perspective. Work with the business to identify key risks and opportunities which will inform plans, forecasts and management reporting.
- Working with Distribution Finance colleagues, track and provide financial analysis on the capital investment portfolio including risks / opportunities, efficiency / gap analysis and pipeline of work against budget and regulatory plans.
- Provide a broad range of insightful business analysis in order to facilitate decision making and identify potential improvement opportunities, including reviews of CBA / Business Cases and benefit tracking.
