Summary of Role:
The Retirement Onboarding Specialist is a support/operations role working with retirement plan producers and advisors to onboard new client relationships as they transition from the prospect to client phase. This includes project management of all facets to establish the client relationship including but is not limited to: preparation of client contract paperwork, establishing vendor connectivity, database entry, communication with finance on invoicing, estimated annual revenue, and fee split arrangements. In addition, you will handle additional regional operational projects as required.
This is a full-time position working from our Bethesda, MD office. We are flexible in offering a hybrid schedule after sufficient training. There will be periodic projects requiring in-office presence, thus you must be within commutable distance to the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Playing a key role in the establishment of a new engagement or revision to an existing engagement
- Obtaining necessary client signatures and permissions
- Establishing provider account access and confirming compensation arrangements
- Ensure data accuracy in company records by regularly and routinely updating business contacts, client and vendor information in Salesforce and maintaining files according to company complaint procedures.
- Handle all confidential business matters and works independently on special assignments.
- Participate in regular departmental meetings and training and development sessions as directed.

EXPERIENCE:
- Prior Experience in the retirement, wealth advisory or insurance business preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. HS Diploma or equivalent is required
- Corporate experience in Administrative or Ops roles preferably in Financial Services, Wealth Management or Insurance is preferred

The base salary range for this position is $67,000 – $93,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
