The role:

As an Outbound Lending Specialist, you'll help customers make the most of their finances by connecting with them to ensure that their NAB Home Loan is meeting their current needs. This means you will be responsible for making outbound calls and communicating with customers to understand their current financial situation and identify opportunities to develop their relationship with NAB, including restructuring or changing their home loan.

This role is more than a contact centre role. As a NAB Outbound Lending Specialist, you'll provide high-quality customer service to our current customers, and you'll continue to cultivate positive relationships. What will my day look like?

You’ll be a “people person” who thrives on helping others. Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Making outbound calls to NAB customers with current home loans

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance customer’s banking needs

  • Calling customers on banking anniversaries, such as the completion of a fixed rate term

  • Calling customers before they defect. Learning about their current situation, and if their products and services are still meeting their needs

  • Writing new home loan applications

  • Assessing customer’s current lending, and restructuring it when required

We are open Monday - Friday between 8:45 am and 5:45 pm and your shifts will rotate across these hours.  This role is a hybrid working role, however, training is onsite.


What you will bring:

  • Be driven by a passion to speak to customers, and surpass expectations in helping them achieve their financial home loan goals 

  • Be able to navigate through multiple computer systems whilst maintaining a great phone manner and attention to detail 

  • Motivated to work in a target driven team environment 

  • Prior Home Lending experience would be advantageous but not essential
