As a Senior Analyst Engineer, you will be responsible for Siebel application support and maintenance which includes managing the support team, incident, problem and change management with expertise in Siebel configuration, technical administration, maintenance, and deployment activities. You be a self-motivated and proactive team player who has experience in development and application support having worked with Siebel and in the IT support space

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test and implement new features.
  • Debug and perform root cause analysis of applications.
  • Develop operating and system documentation.
  • Perform analysis and diagnosis of application systems problems including debugging of code.
  • Perform analysis and diagnosis of application systems incidents including debugging of code.
  • Develop & maintain scripts for supporting automated Siebel deployment activities in multiple environments.
  • Manage incidents within SLAs.
  • Available for on call support during non-working hours and weekends.
  • Proactively identify, document, and manage issues and risks associated with work being undertaken.
  • Able to Develop, Design, code, and test in accordance with best-practice software development guidelines and methodologies for resolving Incidents and Problems.
  • Perform quality assurance and develop applications in an agile devops environment performing tasks such as clarifying functional requirements, Siebel development and testing.

To be successful:

  • Experience with Siebel configuration, workflow, JavaScript or eScript, EAI in Siebel.
  • Integration experience using Inbound and Outbound web services and MQ integration essential.
  • Agile software development practices.
  • DevOps capabilities.
  • A passion for technology keeping up with latest trends.
  • Technology and business stakeholder management.
  • Full lifecycle (design to development to testing to support).
  • Testing automation.
  • Siebel, VB Script, java, Perl, .net, VB6, SQL, PLSQL systems exposure and knowledge.
  • Understanding of ITIL framework, resolving incidents and problems, and raising changes.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven track record solving difficult problems.
  • Experience with development, test automation & continuous delivery environments.
  • Excellent social and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Software Delivery technical skills such as CI/CD, Automated Deployments, Automated Testing, Build Servers, Software or Source Code Configuration Management.
