The role:
As the Senior Product Manager, Business Term Loans (Senior Consultant), you will be primarily accountable for NAB’s key term lending product suite for Small Business Customers. In this critical role, you will leverage NAB’s investment in digital transformation to simplify and enhance NAB’s term loan products, to drive strong portfolio growth.
This is a true product management role, working with the product team and end-to-end value chain partners to improve NAB’s business term loan offering, by reducing complexity, simplifying systems and processes, improving cycle times and process quality, and customer NPS; all with the aim of improving business performance and growth. You will work side-by-side digital delivery squads, collaboratively implementing initiatives and developing product and proposition strategies; and working with Pricing, Treasury, Risk, and others to understand and optimise product economics.
This challenging and exciting role will allow you to leverage your strong experience with product management, ideally in business lending products, to further develop and extend your product management career, and be immersed in NAB’s incredible business lending digital transformation. You will play a central role in continuing NAB’s strong growth in the small business segment
Day to day you will:
- Be the accountable product manager for the Business Options Loan suite of products
- Provide key product SME input to simplification and digital transformation initiatives
- Work closely with Marketing, Digital and Distribution teams to drive commercial outcomes
- Engage stakeholders across the value chain to identify and shape improvement opportunities, and lead implementation to deliver results
- Deep-dive into NAB’s end-to-end processes to understand sources of complexity to identify opportunities to add value through simplification
- Ensure core product management obligations are met and products operate compliantly
- Actively manage the operating product risk profile to improve quality and compliance
What you will bring:
- Significant experience in a similar product management role, with a related tertiary qualification
- Strong understanding of business banking, lending, credit and relationship management
- Strategic mindset and ability to analyse information into workable solutions to complex problems
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work at a fast pace, prioritising tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication to clearly and articulately present facts and insights
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills to build relationships
