About the Role
LV=GI have a fantastic opportunity to join our family of talented people in the Network and Engineering Team as a Regional Network Manager – BCN/Home insurance.
In the role of Regional Network Manager for the East Midlands you will support the development and operation of the LV= Building Contractor Network through effective audit controls and performance management of the associated supplier.
This position will be focused on the east midlands area, you would therefore need to be based in a commutable distance ideally based in the Nottingham/Leicester area.
About You
To be successful for the role you will have a good working knowledge of Building Regulations including CDM and how these apply and impact fulfilment works.
Knowledge of best practice in drying and restoration techniques with experience of property damage repairs across all peril types is desirable.
You will be able to manage relationships with stakeholders and external customers with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical information in a simple way and where required possess the ability to influence negotiations to reach the desired resolution.
You will have previous experience of managing a contractor network and building close working relationships with suppliers as well as experience with supplier spend (on repairs) controlling costs, managing indemnity spend etc.
You should be actively keeping up to date with all current technologies used in the building trade and understand how new developments can be implemented into the claims process
You will have the ability to interpret complex information and data to understand performance
A background in loss adjusting would be an advantage however for the right applicant training could be provided
The Details
Competently carry out site audits, identifying any leakage or trends, highlighting any issues, delivering feedback and producing action plans
Responsible for monitoring supplier building scopes and identifying any discrepancies, trends or themes that may impact the claim spend
Act as SME in relation to H&S protocols and ensuring LV has a consistent approach across the network whilst ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met
Remedy poor supplier performance, mitigate risks, resolve operational and service incidents. Ensuring that root-cause analysis is undertaken and processes are amended/implemented where appropriate.
Undertake regular supplier reviews including joint site visits and ensure any operational issues are escalated accordingly.
Ensuring compliance, accuracy of estimating and good building practice is adhered to in line with LV building claims protocol and industry guidelines
To arbitrate in the resolution of complaints involving property repairs, investigating the cause and seeking agreement between the parties on a resolution
Maintain accurate controls around LV= operational risk associated with suppliers; internal actions that are driven from supplier audits; access to LV and supplier systems
To be able to build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers, pro-actively challenging and managing their performance to achieve satisfactory settlement of customers claims
Escalation point for supplier cost variations to agree or dispute as necessary
Assist Business Standards in annual supplier audits
Key contact point in surge events, working with suppliers to effectively coordinate repairs, mobilise tradespeople and monitor capacity
Ability to take a practical view to resolve problems and create innovative solutions
Identify any trends in relation to snagging issues or reported poor workmanship, ensuring these are closely monitored and effective control measures are put in place
