We are recruiting for a Shunter Driver at our Three Bridges Depot. As a Shunter Driver you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Depot and sidings, organizing the punctual delivery of the right units.

• You will be responsible for the safe movement of rolling stock within Three Bridges Depot
• Responsible for driving and shunting rolling stock
• Carrying out train preparation duties
• Responsible for reporting defects to trains, depot track or equipment and facilities encountered during the course of work.

You should possess or demonstrate the following:

• Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
• You will have strong skills in planning and co-ordinating, as you will be responsible effectively controlling what moves, when it moves and where to.
• Must be able to remain calm and focused under pressure
• Must be able to maintain absolute attention and concentration each and every second of your shift
• Ability to coach others around their performance
