Now looking to recruit an Assistant Track Access Contracts Manager

The Assistant Track Access Contracts Manager is an integral role in the management of GTR's contractual relationship with Network Rail as infrastructure supplier and provides advice to GTR on its obligations and rights. A fundamental element of the role is to protect GTR both operationally and commercially to receive value for money

Ideally this role suits someone who is happy facing challenges that often change day by day. You should relish getting to the real cause of a problem often when receiving conflicting messages. A key characteristic is to be a good team player as your success depends on your ability to communicate and influence our route teams, internal departments and external bodies such as the Office of Rail and Road and Department for Transport. You should also be someone who can think through and evaluate the outcomes of potential actions and events and be prepared to discuss and justify your views with others whilst taking into account their individual viewpoints.
