The Role

As a Senior consultant, you will have hands on experience in the Microsoft.NET and will be working closely with the Software Engineers to deliver enterprise digital platforms. With a background in software development and a passion for technology, the focus of this role is on delivery of high quality well engineered solutions, working with our team and clients to deliver outcomes to address complex challenges and environments.

You will work with both technical and non-technical client stakeholders to understand, design and implement solutions. Along with the experience and energy you bring to the team, you’ll be responsible for:

• Working collaboratively with both Deloitte and client business analysts, creative designers and front-end developers to deliver components of large scale and complex digital implementations
• Delivering software components using ASP.NET, .NET Core and running on public cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
• Implementing Sitecore experience platform to support complex content authoring of sites
• Ensuring that delivered components meet acceptance criteria and that software engineering quality standards are upheld
• Deploying software onto cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
• Contributing to sprint planning and technical design.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you!

You will bring with you your extensive experience in Software Engineering disciplines and Microsoft.NET technologies with deep understanding of managing technical teams in delivering solutions using waterfall and agile methodologies. With proven success in technology across a range of enterprise digital technologies and projects including Web Content Management systems (CMS), Web Applications and Portals, APIs and System integration.

You will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to drive results and provide solutions. This role will require a self- driven individual who enjoys problem solving and displays a proactive attitude with all tasks.

As well as this, you will have:

• Knowledge delivering solutions on cloud platforms – preferably Amazon Web Service or Microsoft Azure
• Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) pipelines. Experience with test automation and code scanning tools highly regarded
• Sitecore and/or other similar WCMS or Digital Experience platforms is preferred
• Understanding or experience in Devops practices
• The following experience or exposure would be highly regarded:
  • Content management systems (particularly Sitecore XP)
  • API implementation and Open API/Swagger.
  • Public cloud platforms including AWS and Azure
  • Azure DevOps repos, pipelines and artefacts
  • Working in agile teams
  • Working with JIRA/Confluence
• The following experience would be beneficial:
  • Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • React and NextJS.
