The Opportunity
A Full-time Ongoing position has become available for a Laboratory Systems Reports Lead at CSL Broadmeadows. Internally referred to as the QC LIMS Reports Lead, you will manage the ongoing development and standardisation of the business processes and structure for the use of reports within the LIMS platforms across CSL Behring and Seqirus.
Working in collaboration with all partners, you will lead activities which ensure there is a common approach for business process and detailed requirements. You will be a true partner for our Quality Control (QC) excellence teams, whilst working within a globally focused Lab Execution Systems team.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager LIMS Process Excellence and Improvement, you will:
- Develop business processes required for the use of reports within the LIMS applications across all CSL manufacturing sites
- Propose report design solutions based on a working knowledge of current technologies and best practices
- Be the LIMS champion to ensure ongoing projects are achieved, and asking for feedback from partners where the function can be of value to the process
- Coordinate with site and Global QC to ensure their requirements are understood and met in the ongoing development of reports
- Be the Lab Execution Systems Lead to support harmonised reports. Ensure reports are driving efficiencies as intended and functioning observing our requirements
Your skills and experience
- 7+ years of experience working within a similar Reporting/Data Extraction position within a regulated environment
- Excellent working knowledge of LIMS/ELN based software: StarLIMS; SQL and Crystal Reports knowledge
- Experience managing external service partners and managing projects in global matrix organisation
- Technical writing skills in System Specifications, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction Documents required
- Knowledge of GxPs, FDA & EMEA Regulations governing validated applications including 21CFR Part 11
- Sample Manager, Labware LIMS knowledge is very beneficial
- Non-English language skills (especially German) beneficial
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; educational concentration in science, IT or engineering
