How can you change it up?

You’ll be joining the busy Field Network Operations team, taking responsibility for looking our Diversion Network Planners who are conducting both the surveying and planning of our network estate across the UK. Alongside the people management element of the role, on a day-to-day basis you can expect to be:

  • Identifying network issues, setting estimated CAPEX and designing solutions
  • Representing us at local authority, client, customer and supplier meetings
  • Establishing and developing supplier relationships within each region so we can satisfy outsource acquisition, design and build requirements
  • Supporting the training and development of our Associate Diversion Network Planners
  • Maintaining productivity objectives across the team
  • Working with the Asset Protection Planning Manager to identify resource risks

You’ll be a natural leader who has some strong experience in diversions planning (preferably within telecoms or another utility) as well as knowledge of multiple telecoms network architectures. You will also bring some of the following with you:

  • An advanced understanding of diversionary works process and COP 1991
  • Experience completing multiple BNAP Closures
  • Experience leading improvements across a multi skilled team including GIS, network planning, design and field-based activities
