About the Role

We are looking for experienced Crushing Services Operators, to join our Crushing and Ore sorting team at Cliffs located near Mt Keith. This position reports to the Supervisor of Crushing and Ore Sorting. You will demonstrate the following:

  • Mobile Crusher Operator experience in an open cut mining environment
  • Perform the safe and productive operation of SME equipment. i.e., excavators, loaders, haul trucks.
  • Operate several pieces of mobile crushing and ore sorting equipment to OEM standards.
  • Assist basic maintenance and general operation of equipment. Including but limited to; inspections, servicing, adjustment, troubleshooting.
  • Overriding commitment to BHP Charter, health, safety, environment, and sustainable development.
  • Contributing to our safety and continuous improvement culture.
  • High level of safety focus – on keeping themselves safe and working safely in a team.

About You

  • Minimum Australian ‘C’ class Driver's Licence essential.
  • Desirable to have experience in the use of 980 Loader and 349 Excavator and/or open cut mining experience.
  • HR Driver’s Licence desirable.
  • Fitter/Boilermaker trade advantageous but not required.
  • Work effectively with other team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

This role offers a great opportunity to maintain a work life balance with FIFO ex Perth, 7D7N7X roster (including nightshift).
