Your role as a Home Lending Specialist (known internally as a Customer Relationship Manager) is to deliver an exceptional experience by working with customers to meet their end-to-end banking needs.
Whether you’re guiding first home buyers create a plan to purchase, or supporting a seasoned investor, you’ll play an integral part of helping our customers through the lending journey and driving growth.
In this dynamic and high-impact role, you’ll make your mark by:
- Building a pipeline of lending leads. Keeping track of and nurturing these relationships throughout their buying journey using our CRM
- Guiding customers through the lending process, giving them peace of mind that we’re here to help them achieve their goals
- Leveraging your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs ensuring positive lending outcomes for all and to future ready your customers for financial success
- Building strong, relationship-centric connections with the community, the branch, and Branch Manager to deliver effective lending outcomes for customers

This is a permanent, full-time position located in Maldon.
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, you’ll consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We’d love you to have:
- Extensive experience in customer service or sales
- High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
- An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess their needs and a develop a holistic view of their situation
- Highly developed credit analysis skills
- An understanding of small business offerings
- Consumer lending experience – this is essential
