Job title: Senior Operations Manager

Location: Barrow -In-Furness - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary: Up to £66,700 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working into the Head of Operations who is responsible for the delivery of facility capability across all programmes
  • Maintain an up to date list of tenants, insure safe, legal and compliance operations are delivered by SQEP resource
  • Responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of all your employees and that your area operates in accordance with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Provide safety leadership via the SHE management systems and visual management. Actively promote a safety focus and required improvement activity both for individuals and the team
  • Ensure the delivery of the appropriate work area schedule by regularly reviewing, reporting on progress and resolving issues
  • Ensure process compliance associated with the role and ensure the team conforms to the processes in place as standard practice. Continuously review, challenge, drive and lead on continuous improvement

Your skills and experiences:

  • HND in engineering/management or equivalent

The Senior Operations team:

As a Senior Operations Manager you will this role will report directly to the Head of Operations, which you will have 3-8 direct reports. You will work closely with senior stakeholders such as; Deliver Directors, Head of Boat, Site and Facilities, Operations functions and SHE.
