Job title: Communications Assistant
Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: Circa 25K pending experience
What you’ll be doing:
Work as part of the wider communications team to support the delivery of our Communications programme, including hands on support for engagement activity and events
Provide day to day support to enable the timely and efficient delivery of proactive and engaging Communications content
Provide administrative support to Communications, Performance and Change Programme teams as required on a regular basis, including event management administration, travel, and expenses
Your skills and experiences:
Excellent IT Skills – Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel), and digital communication mediums. Good working knowledge of relevant company IT systems
Developed and strong administrative skills. Including preparation of documentation for review, to the required format and standards
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to focus and thrive as an individual using external resource applications to complete tasks effectively
A can-do attitude to learning and taking on new tasks

The Communications team:
This role sits within the Communications Team, supporting many of BAE Systems Departments where applicable. Within your role you will be provided with the opportunity to join a busy dynamic team and grow your Administrative and Communication skills in a Hybrid work setting
