Our Total Rewards (TR) team, within Human Resources (HR), seeks to elevate the experience of our people through innovative suite of reward and recognition offerings in order to attract, develop and engage our dynamic organizational talent.
As the Global Mobility Lead, you will drive the Global Mobility agenda in partnership with Reward Business Partners, other COEs and external partners establishing a Mobility infrastructure that supports Avanade`s scale at pace and bold business growth objectives of offering our employees a boundaryless experience. Within the role, you will lead Mobility programs building strategic partnerships and overseeing the timely execution of tasks and responsibilities to ensure successful implementations elevating our employee experience. You will be a key player within the Total Rewards team, reporting directly to the Total Rewards Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define Global Mobility Framework inclusive of all mobile/remote working arrangements and build strong mobility support/function
- Partner with Reward Business Partners to understand volume and type of company generated mobility requirements
- Work with Regional HR to address feedback on how to enhance and improve the facilitation of mobility arrangements
- Manage the relationship and arrangements with key external providers; either Accenture or destination services, tax advice, and immigration advice where required, to ensure that Global Mobility service delivery is 'fit for purpose' and effectively delivered to assignees and business
- Work with Employee Experience, TR COEs and HR to develop new policies, and encourage their consistent applicationManage the roll out of the new policies throughout the company
- Manage International Mobility programs
- Oversee and manage Remote work support. This will involve reviewing cost estimates, reporting, tracking, and formal approval of requests
- Work in partnership with Regional HR in respect of assignment initiations, review and approval of assignment documentation and financial arrangements
- Advise the business on policy application by providing guidance on the selection of the appropriate policy type
- Ensure immigration and tax compliance for each employee move/remote working opportunity
- Review and manage mobility budgets, liaising with Global Finance and reviewing productivity reports where required
- Ensure that high quality support is provided to employees moving internationally on assignment, acting on feedback where required
- The global point of contact and escalation for internal service delivery issues, and responsibility for co-ordination of global process consistency and continuous improvement
- Previous experience as a Global Mobility specialist (professional services experience advantageous)
- Expert knowledge of global mobility processes including, experience with immigration/visa requirements, roles and responsibilities, finance methodology, relocation advice, and a sound grasp of what makes mobility programs successful for all stakeholders
- General knowledge of Immigration laws and rules, Expat Tax and salary/payroll related issues
- Robust experience in launching new mobility programs or approaches in an organizations
- Project coordination and experience managing large, complex, and ambiguous projects
- Manage stakeholder, partner and employee expectations
- Effective collaboration and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and virtually
- Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior leadership
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. MS Project is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with managing teams
Preferred Education & Work Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Mobility role
- Relevant Project Management experience
- Relevant experience in managing teams
