About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Health & Wellbeing Advisor to join our team, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by providing expert advice, driving key initiatives, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
As a key partner across the business, you will support employees and leaders by developing and implementing health and wellbeing strategies including:
- Develop and implement health management plans, standards, and strategies
- Identify, monitor, and control workplace exposure risks through structured programs
- Manage risk assessments, drug & alcohol testing, fatigue management, and health assessment
- Address workplace mental health hazards and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Lead corporate health & wellness initiatives and oversee medical assessments
- Facilitate injury prevention, return-to-work processes, and compliance with worker’s compensation regulations.
About you
We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven professional with a strong focus on continuous improvement, integrity, and confidentiality that thrives on a mix of office based and fieldwork, with occasional travel to operational sites.
Key criteria:
- Experience in a similar health and wellbeing position, Occupational Health or a related field with experience in an industrial environment, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or mining
- Strong understanding of Australian workplace health and safety legislation, particularly in exploration, development, or production environments
- Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety standards, procedures and programs
- Experience in occupational hygiene, fitness for work, psychosocial hazards, and injury management will be highly regarded
