About the role:

As a Project Manager with Zinfra, you will be working in the Non-Routine Construction division. You will work alongside a number of others such as the Non Routine Program Manager in addition to FEED/ PM's and Project Engineers.

In essence your role encapsulates all project management and project leadership responsibilities on multiple Gas Services Non-Routine projects. This includes the, planning, executing, controlling and closing of all aspects of a project, consistent with Jemena's Project Management Methodology to successfully deliver projects.

You will be encouraged to share knowledge and learn from others through the delivery of these projects.

We currently delivering and planning a large number of complex gas projects across the eastern states, for Jemena.

Projects can include the relocation of Trunk, Primary and Secondary steel mains, in metropolitan and country area of NSW, QLD, NT, Vic and the ACT. Refurbishments on Pressure Reducing Stations, including but not exclusively, electrical and instrumentation upgrades, spool/ valve replacements or complete station upgrades.

You will have to opportunity to delivery projects on any number of the major distribution pipelines throughout Australia owned by Jemena. Or the relocation, extension or repair of the Jemena owned, steel gas distribution network within the NSW metropolitan area.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Providing Project Management expertise and planning to deliver multiple complex projects through their complete lifecycle.
  • Proven Senior stakeholder and sub-contractor engagement, in line with Jemena's Project Management Methodology (PEM)
  • Approval of cost estimates in-line with relevant internal policy.
  • Understand the importance of and establish projects to contractual requirements
  • Lastly you should always be conscious that our customers are continually aware of their current project status through effective reporting, management and general communication.

About you:

Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred to help you achieve personal success in this role.

We would also like you to have experience as a Project Manager in similar industry working on a variety of projects with exposure to CIVIL Infrastructure and the challenges that may occur.

Knowledge and application of Project Management methodology (ie. PMBOK or similar) would be highly regarded.
