6month secondment role
What you'll do
As a Senior Marketing Manager within the Digital Content Marketing Tribe, your role is to lead Digital Content marketing strategy and plan on our digital platforms and tools including the Woolworths app(s) to educate, engage and inspire to engage and grow connected customer and member value.
You will work closely with the WX business units/delivery teams to ensure a collaborative and cohesive approach to how we encourage users to engage and use all the benefits of our digital platforms and tools as early on and throughout a customer’s lifecycle.
You are responsible for developing, managing and activating marketing plans aligned to defined objectives.
Within your remit, you will use data and insights throughout the customer journey to identify opportunities to increase user engagement with our digital platforms and tools. This will inform the marketing strategy and plans to drive acquisition, engagement and retention of users. Be it planning, shopping or inspiring, your squad will create and showcase the value we bring to our customers every day.
Additionally you will;
- Partner with the Tribe Lead to deliver digital content marketing and engagement strategy and roadmap.
- Develop effective end-to-end marketing programs maximising customer engagement & revenue.
- Develop strategies that attract new app and digital tools users including weekly active users of the Woolworths app
- Manage and influence senior stakeholders to help escalate and/or unblock any obstacles to keep campaigns on track.
- Build strong relationships with our insights and loyalty team to drive world class data driven 1:1 targeted marketing and trigger based customer journeys.
- Work to optimise and improve campaign response, ROI, channel utilisation and customer relevance.
- Develop test and learn programs to trial best practise and leading edge campaigns and tactics to drive conversion.
What you'll bring
- 8+ years experience in Direct/Digital Marketing, Direct Response, CRM or Data Driven Marketing roles.
- Tertiary education in related fields
- Retail eCommerce and loyalty experience desirable
- Experience in customer lifecycle management, with proven ability to impact customer value.
- Performance focused marketer with strong financial and commercial acumen who leverages insights to develop effective marketing campaigns, prioritise and make decisions.
- Proven experience of customer databases and/or complex data sets, including segmentation, clustering, and predictive modeling.
- Proven experience in developing Test & Learn frameworks and driving conversion rates across multiple channel.
- End to end campaign management experience including strategic brief writing, creative evaluation, production and measurement
