The Purpose of the Role:
Delivering best practice Internal Communications for the Woolworths 360 Facilities Management team.
What you’ll be doing:
As an Internal Communications Specialist you’ll work alongside a talented team of Internal Communicators who partner across the Woolworths Group to create better experiences for our team - in store, on site or in our support office.
You’ll be the key contact and partner for our Woolworths 360 Facilities Management team and help deliver key change and strategic communications to our FM team including our newly created ‘Proactive Services’ team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Communicate key messages to enable the day to day function of our business
- Support leader messaging on key projects and updates
- Land key change programs that improve our customer and team experiences
- Understand our business strategy and how they play a part in delivering it
- Drive inclusion, wellbeing and safety programs in our stores
- Develop and maintain best practice communications supporting the FM team’s daily operations
You’ll also be dedicated to continuously improving our processes, documentation, tools and communications based on team feedback, and providing valued communications advice to our support teams.
What else will the role involve?
- Executing the Woolworths 360 FM strategy and acting as a point of contact for our Operational and Support Leadership teams within Woolworths 360 and Woolworths Supermarkets
- Working closely with support teams on a daily basis to challenge and improve communications for our support and store teams
- Delivering clear, concise and purposeful communications through various mediums including online, print, video and internal social media
- Developing cohesive communications plans and working with the business teams for key events, change initiatives, product launches and other projects
- Helping our store teams understand business objectives and how they contribute to our overall results
Whilst our specialists work across the different areas of the Group, we’re all connected into the Internal Comms Chapter for support and development. The chapter will play a key role in keeping you informed and connected to the wider Woolworths Group, you’ll also contribute insights & expertise back to the chapter.

What are the key qualifications for the role?
Qualifications in communications, marketing and events, public relations or similar are desired but not compulsory - we’re also open to people who have studied in different fields or have a background in stores!
